Raw Banana Stir Fry / Vazhaikai Poriyal

This is another recipe using Raw Banana very simple and can be prepared within 15 minutes


Ingredients

  • Raw Banana - 3 nos
  • Idly Dosai Milagai Podi - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oil - 2 teaspoons
  • Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Urad / Channa Dhal - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Hing - 1/2 teaspoon
Method
  • Cut each raw banana into two halves
  • Pressure cook for 3 whistles
  • Peel the skinn and cut them into small rounds
  • Put it in a bowl and add milagai podi, turmeric and salt.Mix well with your fingers
  • Let it stand for 5 minutes
  • In a kadai heat oil and season with mustard seeds, urad, channa dhals , curry leaves and hing
  • Add the marinated veggie and mix well
  • Cook it covered for about 3 minutes
  • Take it out and serve with Mango Rice
